Cold Season Dispatch

Cold Season Dispatch

Hibernating here in Alaska this winter, watching the light change and the snow blanket the mountains over the water. Slowly but surely brighter days are easing their way in now that March has made it to town.

We've always called Alaska our summer home, migrating here with the salmon season every spring as the snow melted. This year we've leaned into hibernating instead of migrating, settling into Alaska winter and watching the seasons change around us right here in this little coastal community on the edge of the Gulf of Alaska.

We've been climbing mountains, eyeing the fishing grounds from up on snowy peaks. Shorter days have us at the desk mapping out boat projects and new ideas. Happy to be here.
